About Noelle
At the urging of a friend, Noelle took her first yoga class about 27 years ago and was totally captivated. Noelle began yoga teacher training to learn more about the philosophy of yoga and to understand why her yoga practice had such a profound effect. She learned so much during the training and was surprised to find that she truly enjoyed sharing her yoga practice with others.
Since 2009, when she became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), Noelle has taught yoga for various studios and companies in the Philadelphia Area, including Hummingbird Yoga and Massage (now the Hummingbird Yoga Cooperative), the Haverford Recreational Department, East Eagle Yoga, Neumann University Athletics Department, Main Line Unitarian Church, Haverford YMCA, Delco Phit, and IKEA.
In 2016, Noelle completed an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Tools for Living course offered by the Penn Program for Mindfulness. Over the past few years, she has also attended three separate trainings on designing, creating, and facilitating life-changing workshops at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA.
Using the knowledge she gained from these valuable trainings, Noelle began offering workshops on mindfulness, became a co-teacher for Yoga Teacher Training at Hummingbird Yoga and Massage, and started to offer yoga retreats in the local area as a way to share more of her knowledge and expertise. This past March, Noelle offered her first solo yoga retreat in beautiful Costa Rica and had an amazing experience. She found her true calling during this week of teaching yoga, teaching meditation, and offering workshop activities to the participants.
In addition to offering workshops and retreats, Noelle teaches several yoga classes each week, specializing in All Levels Yoga with an emphasis on care and compassion toward one’s self without judgment. These classes are offered online and in person; videos of each class are also available.
Noelle lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband and dog, Ollie. She has two cool kids who are living their best lives - one who is in college in NYC and the other who just graduated from college in VT.
